Regional Marketing Media & Digital Science Manager EMEA (m/f/d)
based in Wiesbaden, Germany.
This position is defined to take Media, Digital and Communication planning (Consumer & Health Care Provider) to the next level to drive efficiency of spend and media capabilities across the region. The ultimate objective of the role is to accelerate the acquisition of new patients via building FreeStyle Libre brand awareness, consideration, trial and recommendation/advocacy.
Main Responsibilities
- Own regional media strategy to drive the FreeStyle Libre brand (and its Digital Health System), contribute to annual marketing planning by establishing media strategy and guidance, as per identified business priorities and drives regional implementation across the local markets
- Own visibility and tracking of all media invest (Above the Line (ATL)/ Below the Line (BTL)) across all markets and enable bi-lateral conversations with our markets on how to improve/ drive efficiencies to simplify and focus local efforts. Run post-campaign reporting, media reviews, buying reviews, and recommendations. Develops state-of-the-art direct to consumer and health care professional performance media analytics models (analytics models for ad budget allocation, KPI set up and optimization, report dashboards)
- Drive up Media capability in EMEAP ADC marketing organization. Optimize local media plans, with best practices guidance and drive efficiencies. Be the Regional expert and go-to-person for all media related questions, SEO, organic and paid search, traditional and social media invest to stimulate higher target reach, conversion, and cost savings. Drive best practice sharing, training & capability building, in line with regional media planning and tracking setup for our FreeStyle Libre Portfolio
- Owns Search Strategy (SEO/ SEA) and performance tracking of our EMEA brand websites to improve continuously the online traffic to Brand Webshop/ website. Steer analysis & continuous improvements for paid performance media campaigns and further development of key KPI set, reports and dashboards
- Drive efficiency and quality in the service of all our media agencies. Coach/step-up the agencies’ strategic planning ability to better synergize across EMEA. Secures best media agency cost in the markets (commitment tracking, benchmark media cost, fees, and other relevant media agency cost for transparency, fair pricing, and inflation mitigation)
- University degree desirable in Business / Marketing, Science or related fields as well as medical or pharmaceutical degree
- 5-10 years of experience and successful track record in Marketing/ Media/ Communications in development and/ or activation type of roles in consumer/patient facing industries, e.g. medical device/ OTC/ FMCG industry
- Significant experience in developing, planning and activating integrated communication campaigns with strong TV/ Digital footprint that build market share ahead of competition
- Significant experience in leading and collaborating with communication agencies i.e. digital, media etc. to be able to identify synergies, skill sets and expertise from each and define a (new, improved) way of working with our agencies across EMEAP.
- Solid experience with performance media ad tools, web analytics, tracking technologies, e-commerce, KPI analysis & optimization. Passion for performance marketing & e-commerce, ad tech and digital business models. Experience in performance marketing for start-ups or new brand launches is a plus.
- Proven Hands-on experiences with digital marketing & web analytics solutions (e.g. Google Analytics)
- Health care passion and mindset (ideally experience)
- Interdisciplinary communication skills

- Controlling, planning and tracking according budgets
- Fluent English language skills
- Stamina, stress tolerance, good presentation, communication and motivational skills
- Excellent PC skills, excellent Project Management skills
