Visit www.agilent.com to know more about us.We are looking for you, an experienced and motivated team player, to join our software platform development team near Karlsruhe, Germany. We provide software components and frameworks for other software application teams across Agilent to enable the lab of the future. On our team, you will develop new instrument control platform software and incorporate latest technologies.
Required Skills
- University Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent
- Typically, 4+ years of relevant software development experience
- Strong knowledge in recent programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, C#, Python, Go)
- Microsoft Visual Studio tools in C#, .NET, .NET Core
- Understanding of Microsoft Windows OS or Linux
- Very good spoken and written communication in English
- You have a successful track record in complex software development projects
- You thrive in a team and are a good at proactive problem-solving
- Agile Scrum methodology and related tools (e.g., Git, Jira)
- Microsoft Visual Studio in C#, .NET, .NET Core
- Web applications and web APIs (e.g. ASP .NET Core, Angular, Typescript, REST) DevOps / CICD (e.g., Jenkins, VMWare, vSphere)
- Cross-platform development and test automation
- Micro-services architecture, security concepts, cloud platforms, containerization
- Good speaking skills in German, 3rd language is a plus
- Domain experience in regulated pharmaceutical/chemical environment is a plus
