Quality Engineer CSC Germany (m/f/d)

For our Engineering team, based in Stuttgart, Germany, we are looking for a Quality Engineer CSC Germany (m/f/d).

This person will be the central contact person in Sales for Quality Engineering topics and support the sale organization in all questions regarding Quality Engineering. The Quality Engineer will support Sales in Customer negotiations and improve Quality Awareness within the Sales Organization.

Scope of your role

• Support Advanced Product Quality Planning APQP in Customer development projects
• Support with customer trainings as well as internal trainings
• Support Sales in Customer discussions on Project level or complaints
• Support Sales organization in technical Complaint handling of all Industrial Customers in Germany:
• Assistance in considering all required data and clarification as to whether a complaint is justified
• Coordination of discussions regarding Quality complaints between Sales, SQA and CQA
• Review 8D Reports, identify weaknesses and resolve internally
• Expansion and Strengthening of existing customer relationships, especially at Quality level
• Coordination with account managers, Sales Engineers, production sites, R&D and involved departments, Quality management, project management and project development in complex projects regarding quality-relevant tasks
• Support at contract review regarding quality aspects:
• Support Sales in Germany at the advanced contract review (e.g. Quality Assurance Agreements)
• Check the Quality aspects at the contract review and define quality relevant input in RfQ process
• Support customer audits and technical visits linked to customer complaints and projects:
• Support customer plant visits and audits, including preparation, conduct, content coordination, action management in close cooperation with Customer Quality Assurance CQA
• Support the supplier during visits and audits, in particular 3rd party suppliers, in full compliance with the TSS Quality Standards and TSS Audit Guidelines in close cooperation with Supplier Quality Assurance SQA
• Coordination and assurance of the implementation of agreed preventive and corrective actions resulting from internal or external audits and technical visits in close cooperation with QM
• Participation in the development of the customer strategy and implementation of the strategy of the own business unit
  

What Defines You

• Technical education comparable to technician or Degree in engineering
• Relevant knowledge and experience with quality management in customer projects is a prerequisite. (advanced quality planning, sampling), advantageous certified Auditor
• Comprehensive knowledge about quality core tools in the industrial, preferably also automotive, segment and general quality methodologies and extensive quality awareness
• Familiarity with CAQ systems and SAP
• Familiarity with Customer Portals if required
• Solid technical expertise in sealing products and main materials, such as rubber, plastics and metal processing.
• Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills
• Fluent language skills in German and English (written and spoken)
• Comprehensive PC and MS Office experience
• Excellent communication skills
