Kotlin Moonshots is a department intended to carefully expand Kotlin as a platform by evaluating new opportunities, fostering team ideas, and validating them through research and an MVP approach. When such initiatives mature, they require QA for further stabilization. That’s why we’re excited to welcome you as a QA Engineer!

As part of the Moonshots team, you will:

  • Work closely with cutting-edge, in-house Kotlin technologies approaching their mature state.
  • Collaborate with developers on exploratory testing of technologies to ensure the best coverage possible.
  • Conduct integration testing of important user scenarios with a focus on the variability of every step.
  • Search for and pinpoint bugs, submit the results to our issue tracker, and perform regression tests for code fixes.
  • Take part in product planning, including creating plans for testing the proposed changes.

We will be happy to have you on our team if you:

  • Can work independently, take initiative, and manage tasks well.
  • Are excited to explore and analyze the subject area while applying your knowledge to search for and highlight existing and potential problems.
  • Embrace learning new things and taking charge.
  • Have a good command of spoken and written English.

We’d be especially thrilled if you:

  • Can code at a level sufficient to create test examples and simple programs in Kotlin, Java, or C#.
  • Are willing to learn Kotlin.
  • Love exploring and mastering new technologies.
  • Have experience working with IDEs, bug trackers, version control systems, and Continuous Integration systems.
