Project Manager - Strategic Operations

To support our team in Berlin, we are currently looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) in our Team Strategic Projects Operations. This team is responsible for driving our Operations’ department most complex, tech-driven and large-scale projects to enable further innovation and growth.

As a Project Manager (f/m/d) you will drive these projects end-to-end. You are expected to manage time and scope and ensure proper alignment, both vertical and horizontal. You ensure effective cross-functional collaboration with both tech and business teams. Together you are responsible for bringing the envisioned end-result live.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

• You participate in high-impact strategic projects with a lot of autonomy and take large responsibilities from day one, with exposure to senior management.
• You work closely with IT to implement innovative solutions and new processes.
• You lead operations and service projects with a focus on automation and scalability.
• You support our continuous international expansion and diversification.
• You manage change pro-actively and you can bridge the gap between different kinds of stakeholders.
• You contribute to the development of project planning and steering mechanisms across Flix to ensure alignment and effective decision making.
• You support the technical and functional implementation of processes by using or optimizing systems used to manage bus traffic and customer interaction.
• You document changes and interact with different stakeholders to identify the business needs and translate them to clear requirements.
• You work closely with HQ units across Business and Tech Operations to ensure systems, processes and resources are in place to support your projects.
• You understand the current business processes and existing software in detail, identify gaps and suggest improvements and continuously optimize them.

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

• You are a graduate from a top Business Administration University, Informatics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, or similar
• You have 2+ years professional experience in Operations, consulting, or IT (start-up, corporate, …)
• You have experience with project management within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
• You have a record of completed projects that have delivered significant business value.
• You are strongly driven, self-organized and highly reliable.
• You have a high degree of technical affinity. Previous experience working with IT, or coding, would be an advantage.
• You are able to effectively prioritize and perform effectively in high-pressure situations, including managing a multitude of competing priorities.
• You have advanced presentation skills, especially in large group set ups, and are a strong, confident interpersonal communicator.
• You have an analytical mind, with an affiliation for numbers and strong problem-solving skills.
• You have an affinity for technology and a keen interest for learning new technical concepts. Experience such as basic coding or web development would be an advantage.
• You like working as a team and contributing to team development.
• You are fluent in English
• Experience working abroad or in diverse environments is a plus.
• Leadership experience, ideally leading teams of project managers or analysts in high-pressure situations is a plus.
