• Holding compentence-oriented courses in the fields of Applied Computer Science, modern Software Engineering, Ergonomics and Development, Data Engineering as well as Cloud Computing in the English-language Master programs Applied Computer Science and Big Data & Business Analytics
• Instructing the students in acquiring the intended competencies, conveying the necessary course content using didactically suitable methods as well as grading the examation results
• Taking resonsilibily for modules in the two mentioned Master programs ranging from the selection and guidance of lectureres to the planning of sessions
• Supervising research and master thesis projects including student mentoring, partner management and publication of selected works in scientific journals
• Performing administrative tasks and participating in the academic self-administration of the university
• At least three years of professional experience in the area of applied computer science or software application development
• Knowledge of the principles of modern software engineering and information system development, microservices, cloud computing, IT security, applied artificial intelligence, data architectures and analytics, usability engineering
• Practical and teaching experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, etc.
• Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus in software engineering and systems development
• Relevant publications and conference contributions in the field of computer science
• Teaching experience in a university is benefit
• Excellent English language skills
• Willingness to actively develop and accompany learning processes according to the CORE principle, as well as an independent and responsible style of working
