Aufgaben

Mercedes-Benz Cars Research and Development designs the automotive generation of the future. In addition to electrified driving, infotainment, driver assistance and connectivity, body electronics more and more drives the customer experience. Comfort and luxury of the premium brand Mercedes-Benz is clearly determines by its body and comfort systems.

As part of MB.OS, we are building a new software development organization with the aspiration to bring leading edge software engineering to the soul of the vehicle to accelerate innovation in body and comfort. We want to push boundaries with respect to speed of innovation and software dependability.

For this mission we are looking for a Product Owner Base Software, as part of a powerful team, will help shape the next generation of control unit software in the Body & Comfort area.

Your tasks include:

  • Develop together with stakeholders and product manager the product goal and vision
  • Part of the overall cross-functional product owner circle to align regarding the product goal
  • Create, manage and prioritize the product backlog together with the development team
  • Ensure that the product backlog is transparent, visible and understood
  • Contact for the development team, the business owners and the stakeholders
  • Spread your knowledge and experience in the team

Qualifikationen

What you bring to the table:

  • Several years of experience as a product owner
  • Understanding of agile values, principles and practices
  • Experience in AUTOSAR and base software development ideally Vector stack
  • Passion for state-of-the art software engineering practices
  • Excitement for being part of something new, building a new organization from the scratch
  • Readiness to accept challenges and push the boundaries
  • Mind-winning personality with enthusiasm to spread her/his knowledge and experience in the team
  • Degree in engineering, computer science, information systems or relevant skills acquired in previous occupation
