ABOUT THE TEAM:
Our product team consists of specialists in frontend, backend, QA and design. (This is not a marketing role). We work in small collaborative cross-functional teams responsible for specific new features and improvements to our platform. We’re always working to make our company the most inclusive and welcoming workplace possible.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Product Designer (with a focus on UI) working on our product you will be responsible for the visual design of our SaaS platform. You will collaborate with design and development teams to translate complex feature requirements into beautiful, functional and intuitive solutions. This role focuses mainly on UI, but over time can involve more UX design.

We’re keen to see portfolios which have detailed examples of end-to-end concept development, research methodologies, prototyping, testing and measurement.

Tasks

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Software Engineers and fellow Product Designers to translate user requirements and rough mockups into detailed UI designs
• Shape and evolve our SaaS platform, striking a balance between user needs and requirements, technical possibilities and objectives of the business
• Advocate evidence-based decision making through research and observation
• Champion a considered design process from discovery and research into design, yet be flexible enough to adapt to more lean approaches when necessary
• Maintain our component library to guarantee consistency in all aspects of our UI
• Effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Excellent core UI/UX design skills
• A background of end-to-end design of digital products/platforms in Agile teams
• Deep knowledge across the UCD spectrum as well as good understanding of UI and interaction design
• Experience of working with data, testing and analytics
• Familiarity with the concept of MVP, and product delivery in cross-functional teams
• Confidence in sketching, wire-framing, prototyping and producing hi-fidelity designs in Figma, creating design systems and developer hand-offs
• Innovative, creative ideas and passion for B2B SaaS Product Design
• Fantastic communication and presentation skills with an empathic approach and personable manner
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, React and Javascript is a bonus
• Fluency in English
