Are you the strong experienced leader we are looking for to be our, Plant Manager for our 2 Automotive locations in Neutraubling? Can we trust you with the responsibility for general supervision of all phases of plant operations including Operations, Health & Safety, Quality, HR, Finance, and IT. The Plant Manager is responsible to oversee our 2 automotive sites in Neutraubling and leading the Management Team to ensure the tactical day to day operational functions are maintained within a safety-first environment whilst planning strategically and promoting continuous improvement. About The Role

How you will contribute
  • To ensure that customer expectations are met and/or exceeded within the confines of company guidelines.
  • Meet company objectives with respect to Innovation, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment.
  • Monthly & Quarterly presentations to customer senior management relative to our scorecard and initiatives.
  • Participate in customer invited meetings to support Customer strategic objectives.
  • Drive internally, communicate with the customer and demonstrate initiatives supporting continuous improvement.
  • Prioritize activities associated with the elimination of waste in all aspects of our operations through the promotion and execution of the concepts of lean manufacturing.
  • Establish contract life business plan, annual budgets, ensuring targets are met and mitigation of any negative cost impacts.
  • Ensure process change is managed and documented to ensure the safeguarding of operational performance & commercial agreements.
  • Local initiatives to ensure plant progression in all regards.
  • Manage all customer dissatisfaction including production downtime, repeat quality issues and any personal issues.
  • Continue to build a stronger salaried team capable of leading the hourly workforce into the demands of the future.
  • Work with the business development and account management group to identify business opportunities within the capabilities of the plant and local area
  • Control of and full responsibility for the contracted P&L
  • Experienced in CIP techniques and delivering efficiency targets
Your Key Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree preferred.
  • Managerial experience at various levels within a 3PL environment and/or other manufacturing locations
  • Manufacturing / logistics background in the automotive industry is preferred. Job experience in an OEM or Tier 1 operation is beneficial.
  • Experience operating within a complex large scale facility managing demands of multiple sub departments.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in the German Language and on at least a C1 Level in English
  • Must adjust work schedule as determined by the demands of the business, a certain flexibility is mandatory.
  • Must be able to communicate to large numbers of employees effectively.
  • Must be able to prepare complex presentations and present to leadership and customers.
  • Be open, candid and truthful. Never pursue a political agenda but simply explore best solutions. Integrity and respect for individuals are part of a candid culture.
  • Proactively seek solutions and make decisions.
  • Travelling is involved.
