Im Auftrag unseres Kunden, einem global führenden Entwicklungsungsunternehmen von Elektrofahrzeugen, suchen wir ab sofort für einen Projekteinsatz am Standort Grünheide bei Berlin eine/n Mechanical Construction Project Manager (m/f/d) in Vollzeit.

Your Topics

• Be an expert in the construction and start-up of mechanical/process systems and equipment and use this knowledge to lead constructability reviews of design packages. Systems include but are not limited to: Compressed Air, HVAC, Chilled water, Hot Water, Waste Water Treatment, Pure water generation (RO and DI), Liquid Chemical storage and distribution, Specialty gasses generation and distribution (Argon, Nitrogen)
• Create and improve systems and strategies to identify and resolve schedule and budget risks from project initiation through design, install, commissioning, and turnover.
• Anticipate problems both in the office and field; apply solutions preemptively.
• Improve the baseline process for developing scopes of work and reviewing bids to address technical and cost acceptability.
• Develop and communicate logistical support plans with contractors and customers.
• Manage communication with various teams to ensure quality inputs and outputs; serve as the primary interface between with engineering team, manufacturing team, production team, facility team, procurement, and commissioning team.
• Compile and assign responsibility for lessons learned for projects; communicate these internally and externally to improve performance company-wide.
• Enforce and maintain quality for engineering drawings and field installations; identify causes of issues and work with various teams to improve specifications and/or standards where required.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• Extensive experience in a role that supports large industrial construction projects in manufacturing, oil and gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors or equivalent high-tech facilities
• Extensive knowledge and experience related to mechanical/ process systems
