Purpose & Overall Relevance For The Organization

Transformation Management contributes in the definition and driving of the execution of the adidas Tech strategy under the guidance and in very close collaboration with the Director Tech Strategy & Portfolio. This includes the identification of strategically relevant topics within and outside the organization, the evaluation of impact, the proposition of actions and the setup up of strategic initiatives as well as organizational development opportunities to address these topics together with the Tech Senior Management. Furthermore, transparency of costs of Tech products (Bill of IT) as well as the respective value proposition of Applications, Products up to entire domains has to be ensured.

Focus of the team is to drive transformation programs with strategic relevance for adidas and in particular by leveraging technology opportunities for the Sporting Goods industry to be to a truly product led tech organization incl. setting up new tech hubs, defining the tech-operating model and ensuring that the product led operating model incl. corresponding sourcing strategy is established across the organization in a consistent manner.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio, program and project support
  • Uses recommended portfolio, program and project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking.
  • Sets up project files, compiles and distributes reports.
  • Provides administrative services to project boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings.
  • Provides guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques.
Business Analysis
  • Investigates operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organization.
  • Assists in defining acceptance tests for these recommendations.
Requirement and definition management
  • Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritization activities for smallscale changes and assists with more complex change initiatives.
  • Follows agreed standards, applying appropriate techniques to elicit and document detailed requirements.
  • Provides constructive challenge to stakeholders as required.
  • Prioritizes requirements and documents traceability to source. Reviews requirements for errors and omissions.
  • Provides input to the requirements base-line. Investigates, manages and applies authorized requests for changes to base-lined requirements, in line with change management policy.

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications
  • Four-year college or university degree with focus on Business Administration or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient spoken and written command of English
  • At least 5-year experience in IT
  • 2 years of experience in relevant area, preferably in top-management consulting
  • 1 year of experience in team management
  • Understanding of different culture
  • Participated in projects with people from other functions/markets
