For our international team in the Munich office we are looking for a motivated person at the earliest possible date for the position of

Marketing Automation Manager (f/m/d)

What To Expect

The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for all marketing automation efforts. The incumbent will drive lead nurturing and campaign implementation as well as project scope and timeline. Engage prospects throughout their buying process – leveraging marketing automation to capture revenue across the entire marketing and sales cycle. The manager must possess a balance of analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills, while being focused on producing and executing high quality marketing automation campaigns.

Leads a team of Marketing Automation Specialists.

Defines the end-to-end lead nurture process based on industry best practices and develops lead and conversion nurturing campaigns.

Actively participates in campaign life cycle stages including: needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, launch and ongoing support.

Initiates creative marketing automation activities based on EMEA marketing strategies to generate business leads. Designs, executes and measures the effectiveness of marketing automation projects to drive user awareness, conversion, and retention.

Works effectively with global and local marketing teams.

Track, monitor, analyze and report on campaign performance vs. benchmarks.

Performs customer profiling, segmentation and analysis of purchase pattern behavior to maximize acquisition efforts.

What We Are Looking For

Degree in Marketing or related field and 5 to 7 years of marketing automation experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years of direct supervision/ management experience is required. Experience in an international marketing environment across cultures and various countries is a plus.

Experience in building programs and analyzing results using Eloqua, Marketo or similar tools desired.

The ability to manage effectively multiple concurrent projects including requirements gathering, design and project planning/management in a dynamic environment.

Experience in contact or lead database management (segmentation, reporting and maintenance) and expertise in customer list acquisition and management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, also cross-functional, in German and English language.

Strong project management and time management skills.

Process-oriented thinker, motivated team player, resourceful with strong problem-solving and technical aptitude; experience working against tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment keeping a keen eye on detail and accuracy.

Flexible to meet the changing needs of the business and ability to take on new responsibilities and assignments.
