This is a perfect role for an early-career professional who is looking for an opportunity to work closely with Commercial and Marketing teams.

Let’s Get Down To Business

Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst, you will be involved in Supporting the evaluation of financial performance of the business, enabling evaluation of opportunities and effective decision making and enhanced business performance. You will be part of a diverse European team and will work closely with Commercial and Marketing teams. The role demands a great deal of stakeholder involvement and engagement at various levels, so it is ideal for someone who enjoys data analysis and building strong relationships.

Here’s a sample of the type of things you will be responsible for:

• Support the Commercial team plus the Marketing team in the development of financial business plans and strategies to ensure all financial expectations are achieved.
• Monitor, track and control Advertising and Promotion spending and provide full analytical support to the Marketing team on the Advertising and Promotion budget
• Support of Senior Business Analyst in daily tasks such as financial steering of the business, forecasting, planning, assurance of correct level of deflator provisions, preparation of presentations and analysis to senior management, ad-hoc analysis to evaluate the business performance and to solve financial problems.
• Support with Month-end closing process and preparation of financial reports
• Working with various levels of Sales, Marketing and Finance departments relevant to the position.
  

Show Us What You’ve Got

Ideally you will have first experience as an Analyst or Business Analyst gained within a global commercial or FMCG business. You must be fluent in German and English (other European languages would be useful).

In this role, it is important that you are able to work autonomously, flexibly and collaboratively with individuals and teams located internationally.

Here are some of the requirements we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• First Experience within Finance department in a multi-national corporation
• Exposure to FMCG companies would be highly desirable
• Excellent IT skills including manipulation and analysis of data using excel (and other MS office tools) and interrogating and extracting information from management information systems
• First experience with SAP would be desirable
• Strong ability to communicate and building relationships with matrix colleagues across country boundaries and departments
