(Junior) DevOps Engineer (f/m/d)

What would be your mission?

• You will be part of an agile development team helping clients to reduce their carbon footprint and save the planet!
• You will contribute to building and operating scalable systems that drive Planetly’s SaaS solution
• You will extend developer tooling, , and other developer-centric capabilities
• You will contribute to cross-team initiatives such as architecture, best practices, mentoring, and knowledge sharing

Who is our best match?

• You’ve worked with public cloud platforms such as AWS before - GCP or Azure experience will be considered
• You have a good understanding of container technologies like and
• You are proficient in hands-on scripting with shell and also feel comfortable working python 3.x, ideally, you have some experience with Django 3+
• We have a diverse international team and use English as our working language; you can read, write, and speak professional English
• You have a bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related/relevant technical field, or equivalent experience
• Our ideal candidate also knows some of these and is looking forward to growing their skillset:
• Infrastructure provisioning tools (Terraform, Ansible, CDK, Helm)

CI/CD methodologies and technologies
Networking (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS)
SQL and NoSQL databases
Monitoring, alerting and logging tools such as Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Sentry, and ELK stack
Security, data privacy, compliance, and machine learning
