(IN SILICO) TOXICOLOGIST (M/F/D) – REGULATORY SCIENCE

What you can expect

  • Your path is taking you into a team of currently ten toxicologists – and right into our enormous diversity of projects
  • Your main task: in silico assessments of toxicological and ecotoxicological properties of various substances mainly in the fields of plant protection and biocides
  • In collaboration with your colleagues you will generate in silico data and prepare in silico assessments in a weight of evidence approach evaluating potential toxicological and ecotoxicological effects, extrapolating data and filling data gaps (e.g. read-across)
  • Additionally, you will support various regulatory projects and perform tasks such as preparation of risk assessments, evaluation of potential endocrine effects as well as planning/coordination and monitoring of studies
  • Your focus: to obtain approvals for our client’s products in the European market
What You offer

  • Bachelor or Master degree in natural science, ideally in (computational) toxicology or bioinformatics and/or working practice or specialization in toxicology
  • Ideally experience in (in silico) toxicology and in the sphere of regulation (with a focus on plant protection and/or biocides)
  • At best additional qualification as a certified expert in toxicology
  • Ability to tackle toxicological issues effectively with scientific creativity and diligence
  • Interest in and/or knowledge of computational data modelling and understanding of structure activity relationships
  • A talent for organisation, goal orientation and awareness of deadlines
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English and ideally in German
