Job Title: Head of Sustainability (ESG)

Core focus: We are seeking a Head of Sustainability (ESG) to be responsible for developing and implementing internal ESG policy including external reporting structure, finalising and implementing a technology roadmap for 2030 and 2050 net-zero pathway (scope 1+2+3), develop and carry out milestones to reach our 2030 sustainability targets.

Responsibilities:

  • You will build company-wide ESG policies and programs related to sustainability
  • Developing, leading and supervising projects driving down our environmental footprint and improve our ESG profile
  • Responsible for communicating sustainability strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead, develop, influence and deliver the sustainability strategy
  • Develop framework
  • Ensure our compliance with ESG-related obligations and reporting requirements (NFRD, CSRD, EU Taxonomy)
  • Develop, lead or supervise projects in the area of environment and sustainability

Key requirements:

  • Degree qualification in related field
  • Experience in a related industry - chemicals, mining, engineering, renewables
  • 5+ years of experience in in the field of environment/sustainability
  • Possess a growth mind set, enjoy a challenge and a self starter
  • Travel is once or twice a month
  • Fluency in German and English
