About The Team

The accounting team at Seven Senders aims at providing the basis for all relevant finance and accounting processes for a truly data-driven company. You will work at and manage our financial core and be an active business partner to our fast-growing organization.

In your role as a Financial Accountant (f/m/x), you will help us to get to the next level in terms of compliant, robust, and safe financial processes. You will also take ownership for relevant finance processes and will closely collaborate with the BI and Controlling teams. Additionally, you will support our IFRS conversion project.

You have an impact on the following topics:

• Execute on daily operational accounting tasks (mainly AP and GL) and become integrated into the existing team of 6 (and growing) accountants
• Support and enhance our Month End Closing (MEC) and Year-End Closing (YEC) process
• Actively support our key strategic financial initiatives, including further enhancement of tools and processes, IFRS conversion, and the creation of a group accounting structure
• Independently drive Quality Assurance activities to improve data and processing quality
  

With these skills you complete our team:

• At least >3 years experience in Finance & Accounting
• Proven experiences and in-depth knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP (HGB)
• Sound working experience in agile and dynamic environments
• Proven track record of successfully supporting projects (e.g. audit, year-end closing)
• Sound finance knowledge (statutory reporting, tax filing, audit)
• Good communication skills
• Good command of English in speaking and writing
  

Optional

• Previous experience in e-commerce or logistics
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Business Central BC365)
• Local GAAP (HGB) knowledge as an advantage
• Understanding of German documents
