Job Description
Are you a finance professional who is brilliant in finance business partnering? Do you enjoy taking finance leadership and growing together with an inspiring company?
We are looking for a strong Finance business partner to join LEGO in its exciting journey in Wester Europe.
Responsibilities
- Finance lead of Europe Central BU (the second biggest BU in The LEGO Group), steering BU financial performance from revenue to EBIT
- Key member of EUC LT and Western Europe Market & Channel Finance team
- Define EUC short-term and long term growth strategy and investment direction (e.g. 3yr strategy planning, annual target setting, integrated commercial planning, gap to target)
- Champion investment efficiency and productivity agendas with financial analysis and data insights
- Lead in-year financial planning and review cycles in EUC
- Steer overall P/L management with deep focus on revenue management, marketing spend, overhead and part of distribution, and collaborate/guide EUC Senior Finance Manager on trade investment management
- Represent Finance in EUC business steering meetings and LT meetings to bring in financial insights for better decision making e.g. demand planning, business performance reviews
- Drive strong financial governance including strengthening of internal control attitude, behaviors and processes
- Ad-hoc projects
Do you have what it takes?
- Relevant proven ability in Finance field
- Experience in business LT teams
- Comfortable to act as individual contributor with no direct people leadership
- Proven track record of being able to lead financial planning process and influence investment decision with financial insights
- Comfortable with ambiguity and is not afraid of getting into details
- A phenomenal teammate with strong communication and interpersonal skill
- Takes initiative, recognizes, and acts on opportunities with high degree of autonomy
- Good knowledge of Germany, Switzerland and Austria market
- Proficient in English speaking and writing
- German language is preferred but not crucial
