YOUR ROLE

  • Preparation of a doctoral thesis (3 years) in an industrial environment in cooperation with a highly recognized partner from academia development of novel adhesive formulations (1-Component or 2-Component) in the area of silane modified polymers (SMPs) and silicones for industrial applications
  • Preparation and characterization of formulations, synthesis of raw materials and development of surface characterization techniques
  • Independent literature and patent research, preparation and presentation of scientific reports, IP generation and preparation of publications
  • Support processes and operations of the Henkel team

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master degree in Chemistry, Polymer Sciences or Chemical Engineering
  • English language skills are a must, German is a plus
  • Interest in biobased and sustainable chemistry
  • High interest in active lab work such as organic synthesis and preparation of formulations
  • Communicative team player, open minded, efficient and highly motivated
  • Willingness to relocate to Düsseldorf
