The job

As a DevOps Engineer (all genders) at Experience One you will not only work on long- term complex projects, but also on short-term agile projects. Here, you will act as a bridge between our already developed products and the technical environment of well-known companies in the areas of automotive, fashion and e-commerce. Thanks to your expert knowledge, you will advise and support our system administrators and developers in setting up and automating operations and deployments. By working closely with our senior developers, you will be able to benefit from their many years of experience in tools and methods and thereby consistently expand your own technical skills.

Your Tasks

  • You accompany projects and teams throughout the entire software lifecycle, representing your solution approaches within the DevOps Engineering team as well as colleagues from other departments
  • You are continually able to design, develop and scale a new solution from scratch by selecting and combining the right technologies
  • You enable a safe and trouble-free operation by playing a key role in the test coverage process
  • Together with your team, you automate and optimize processes, implement best practices, and shape the technical language at Experience One
  • Your location is based in Germany

Your Skills

  • For you, DevOps Engineering is a philosophy where combining different ways of thinking is key
  • You already have a solid working experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Gitlab-CI, as well as first points of contact with automation tools like Ansible or Puppet
  • You already had some experience with Python or Bash for your scripts
  • You have a strong interest in advanced technologies, for example Kubernetes, Docker or CloudFoundry and would like to deepen your knowledge
  • Your clearly structured and result-oriented way of working makes it easy for your colleagues to understand your code
  • You see yourself as part of the whole and enjoy communicating in both German and English
