Your area of responsibility:

• In our three-person IT team, you will be responsible for the further development and maintenance of the IT infrastructure at the site – hardware, software, LAN and means of communication such as telephone systems.
• You will carry out troubleshooting and provide first-level support in the areas mentioned.
• Identifying sources of problems through discussions with users and coordinating the external support team to solve the problems are your daily business.
• Procurement, installation and conversion of PC components and software are also part of your area of responsibility.
• If necessary, you train the users in the use of the hardware and software.
• You will support IT-relevant projects at the Duisburg location as well as on an international level.

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed your training as a systems computer scientist or an IT-related degree, such as computer science.
• Initial practical experience in a comparable field of activity is desirable.
• You have very good knowledge of the Windows operating systems and MS-Office 365.
• Initial contact with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and 3D CAD programs (e.g. Solidworks) is also desirable.
• German you are fluent in spoken and written, a good knowledge of English is required.
• You work in a solution-oriented, independent and reliable manner.
• We require the ability to work in a team, a high level of customer orientation and a great interest in constantly getting to know new software and technologies.
