Commission Analyst (m/f/d)

As a Commission Analyst (m/f/d) you will be part of the People & Workplace Team and the main point of contact for all company-wide variable commission calculations. Furthermore you will be part of the People Operations Payroll team who are constantly improving HR processes at Personio.

Here is a list of your core responsibilities and contributions:

• You will be responsible for the company’s variable commission in the most efficient way while enabling growth at the same time. This incorporates communicating with all business partners involved in the process of variable commission, building trust through all compensated departments by making sure that the quality of the data is always accurate and kept up to date. However, you will also continue to automate and improve our current variable commission software (SPIFF) and calculation model.
• Monthly calculation of commission for different roles across departments
• Monthly calculation of commission accruals and reversals for the accounting department
• Continuous improvement of commission processes, models and calculations
• Scaling and improvement of commission systems and databases
• Commission reporting to business units
• Documentation of actual and future commission processes

• You have at least 2+ years of relevant working experience as a commission analyst or any related function (ideally in either SaaS or online B2B/B2C)
• You want to work in an environment where you can make a difference while being perceived as real partner of the business who mainly enables future company growth from a variable commission perspective
• You have an independent, analytical, data-driven, well structured and solution-oriented work ethic
• You can professionally communicate in English (German is a plus)
• You impress with your positive attitude and convince with your “can do” mentality
• You have the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a high-paced environment while managing high-volume of activity
• Strong Excel skills, including Google Sheets
• Experience with financial tools; knowledge in common CRM and subscription management tools is a plus
• You have a BSc/MSc degree in business administration or any related field
