CI/CD Test Automation Engineer for Embedded System & Software Development (f/m/x)

As part of MB.OS, we are building a new software development organization with the aspiration to bring leading edge software engineering to the soul of the vehicle to accelerate innovation in body and comfort. We want to push boundaries with respect to speed of innovation and software dependability. Continuous integration and test automation are key practices to achieve the intended acceleration.

Therefore, we need an experienced test automation professional to help us designing and operating efficient test automation in our CI / CD pipelines.

Your tasks include:

• You architect testing solutions for our CI / CD pipelines to cover test objectives from software tests up to integrated system tests on virtual and physical embedded targets
  
• You explore existing solutions from simple rest-bus simulation up to connected cluster HIL, virtual test targets or test-operations-as-a-service
  
• You offer testing solutions as a platform allowing the development teams to provide and run their application-specific tests in the CI / CD pipeline
  
• You see the latest state-of-the-art technologies regarding virtualization, scalability and elasticity
  
• You shape the system and software test environment to fulfil standards like ASIL and ISO 26262
  
• You work in a diverse team of automotive domain experts, embedded software engineering experts, safety-engineering experts and QA experts
  
• You spread your knowledge and experience and strengthen the DevOps mindset in the team
  

What you bring to the table:

• Proven experiences in test automation for embedded products, ideally automotive
  
• Knowledge in setup and operations of HIL and SIL technologies
  
• Experience in offering testing solutions as a platform service
  
• Ideally experiences with cloud-based virtual testing
  
• Excitement for being part of something new, building a new organization from the scratch
  
• Readiness to accept challenges and push the boundaries
  
• Mind-winning personality with enthusiasm to spread her / his knowledge and experience in the team
  
• Degree in computer science, information systems or relevant skills acquired in previous occupation
