YOUR FUTURE ROLE


Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Change Request Manager in cloud operations for one of our strategic customer accounts.


The Role:

As a Change Request Manager, you are responsible for E2E change creation during cloud operations. You apply customer’s change request process and procedures and ensure process compliance. You work in close collaboration with Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) internal and customer teams to deliver all necessary changes in time. You will be in direct contact with the customer via phone, email or ticketing tool (ServiceNow), actively contribute during regular change request alignment calls. You provide guidance in creating the necessary documents to technical and non-technical teams.


YOUR PROFILE


  • Solid technical background to understand cloud operations language
  • Knowledge/certification in ITIL, especially Change Request Management
  • Experience in communication with customers and managing expectations
  • Strong customer focus and service minded
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking
  • Good team player and ability to work effectively in international and virtual teams
  • Able to provide knowledge transfer from certain technology areas
  • Proactive in learning and highly self-motivated
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; German is a strong plus
  • Project management certification (scrum master) is a plus
  • Master’s degree in engineering, information technologies or equivalent training and job experience
  • At least 5 - 7 years of experience in similar roles


ABOUT THE TEAM


Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is part of the Product Engineering board area and consists of SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and Cloud Application Services (CAS). As private cloud managed services provider, Enterprise Cloud Services Delivery is offering a key aspect in the intelligent business transformation journey of our customers.
One of SAP’s strategic customers has setup a transformation program called Journey to Cloud (J2C). A cornerstone of this transformation is to consume the entire SAP landscape as SaaS provided by SAP. To provide the right level of service, it has been decided to build a new team within ECS. The team is working dedicated for our strategic client and will operate the entire customer SAP landscape with more than 80 productive systems and several of the largest HANA-based systems (e.g. 2x24TB ERP scale-out).
