As an interface to Product Management, Operations and IT, the area Business Process Management (BPM) Global Airfreight is responsible for all the global Airfreight processes of Hellmann. This includes the design and continuous improvement of business processes in terms of standardization, automation and digitalization. In addition our BPM team is also responsible for the implementation of business processes and ensuring its sustainability.
The Business Process Manager Airfreight CEP & Healthcare is part of the global Airfreight BPM team with functional reporting line to the Global Airfreight Product Directors Healthcare and CEP. The purpose of the role is to design, implement and manage the Healthcare & CEP specific processes and trainings. The focus in CEP is on implementing and developing the new CEP products in the global Airfreight organization. And for the product Healthcare you are driving efficiency and quality. The allocation of tasks between Healthcare and CEP is at 50% each. The position can also be filled on a part-time basis, then either with the focus on the product CEP (from Frankfurt) or Healthcare (from Amsterdam).

» Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with Corporate and the Regions to advise and support the development and maintenance of the target blueprints and roadmaps with focus on Healthcare & CEP items.
  • Work closely with the Global BPM Team to define and improve process standards that enable quality, efficiency and economies of scale as well as compliance with global and local regulation relevant for Airfreight Healthcare & CEP Operations.
  • Enable scalability of new CEP products whilst developing them together with the Director CEP from scratch. Think outside the box and find creative solutions that can be aligned with existing global structures.
  • Control CAPA’s and take the necessary actions to improve the Healthcare Processes.
  • Focus on how value is added for the Healthcare & CEP Customers, eliminate waste and non-value adding activities.
  • Seek opportunities to improve productivity and GP control across the Airfreight commercial and operational functions (incl. supervisor level)
  • Train, coach and support the regional BPM Teams and Cluster/Country BPM Managers on the different healthcare & CEP specific processes
  • Support the Regional and Country Heads of Airfreight in identifying and developing Healthcare & CEP talents in the region
» Key Skills and Requirements:
  • A solid understanding of the global airfreight forwarding industry and the operational processes
  • Completed logistics apprenticeship and / or completed University degree in Logistics or business administration
  • Good Knowledge of the Airfreight Product Healthcare and/or CEP (Courier Express Parcel services)
  • Significant Experience in setting up and developing new processes in a global airfreight organization
  • Strong Knowledge on continuous improvement methodologies, process management including process mapping and Data Analysis
  • Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience in supply chain and/or manufacturing is also preferable as knowledge of GDP/GMP related quality system process & procedures (deviations, CAPA and change control) (for Healthcare)
  • Basic eCommerce Product Knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills, self-motivated, flexible and resilient
  • The ability to work in a project and team environment across different assignments, cultures and places
