We’re looking for a Global Brand and Campaign Management Lead to be responsible for strategically developing and safeguarding the trivago brand globally. You’ll do this by setting the framework for its marketing communication, leading the program and campaign management team.An important aspect of the role will be managing the execution of integrated 360 campaigns and ensuring campaigns are built on strategic objectives along with the right business metrics and executed skilfully across various channels. You’ll work closely with the Insights & Planning team and the Creative teams and will report to the Domain Lead of Brand and Creative.

What you’ll do:
- Drive short- and long-term brand vision, communication strategy, and execution together with the marketing leads.
- Position the trivago brand and sharpen its profile – becoming a meaningful, distinct and trusted brand to sustainably attract new and existing users.
- Drive the year-round integrated campaign and program management, managing campaign managers as needed.
- Work in close cooperation with the creative teams regarding media productions and communication concepts through briefings.
- Stakeholder management across Marketing teams such as Media, Country Management and Business Intelligence plus across-pillar such as Product and Advertiser relations.
- Establish and educate on Brand and Communications as a powerful complement to Performance Marketing across the Marketing department and across the company – establish the right balance of content effectiveness and channel efficiency.
- Lead and influence in a performance-driven environment with strong analytical capability that needs to learn to see the human behind the data point.
- Actively look for opportunities to innovate and improve business performance through communication, e.g. new marketing channels, communication approaches, technologies, etc.
- Develop strategic brand management skills and foster learning within the direct reporting lines.
- 5-8 years brand strategy experience either at an agency or in house.
- Experience leading a multidisciplinary team and working collaboratively across disciplines.
- Proven expertise in brand building and communications planning and management.
- Be comfortable integrating with channel and content strategy as well as data and KPI-driven strategy.
- Be proactive and directly involved in the strategy, planning and programming of the brand.
- Have experience in upstream, big brand strategy (possibly with experience from creative agencies).
- Be a robust, creative thinker who can organize ideas and workflows into a coherent brand narrative.
- Have proven experience of brand building and team management / mentorship.
