Job Description And RequirementsAs a Solutions Marketing Manager, you will be the architect of our strategic approach to showcasing automotive value propositions for our target personas. Your role will be pivotal, working with the Automotive core team to craft go-to-market strategies, orchestrate successful product launches, and create compelling messaging documents. Your expertise will help us establish competitive positioning in the market and generate product and solution content that will ignite demand and awareness for our automotive solutions.
Part of the Global Marketing and Communications Group, you will be in a prime position to collaborate with our digital marketing and campaign teams. Together, you’ll activate the strategy across content, digital, and brand marketing, creating a powerful, unified message that resonates with our audience. This role is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity for you to influence an industry and shape the future of Synopsys’ automotive solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute a global marketing strategy to help drive demand, awareness and perception of our automotive products and solutions to automotive OEMs, Tier 1 providers, and SoC and systems architects
- Gain a deep understanding of the worldwide automotive markets we serve to build detailed personas, drive marketing programs, and educate internal Synopsys teams
- Develop differentiated, value-based product positioning and messaging frameworks that resonate with our target buyer personas using customer research and competitive insights
- Create range of content including web, e-marketing, presentations, industry articles, press releases and more, to increase visibility of Synopsys Automotive solutions
- Research the automotive market to describe trends and analyze competitors, using this intelligence to inform marketing plans
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders including sales, product management, digital marketing and campaigns, PR, and brand teams to create and support initiatives
- Travel to industry events required
- Experience in marketing to automotive OEMs and Tier 1s
- Experience in the EDA and semiconductor industry highly preferred, including understanding of chip technology and market requirements at the silicon and system level
- Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and translate these into compelling, customer focused communications
- Data driven, measured and results focused
- Experience in developing marketing plans, positioning and messaging
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams
- B.S degree in electrical/computer engineering desired
