What You Will Do

As a Financial Account Manager (m/f/d) you will be responsible for supporting the commercial teams in quoting future business and managing existing accounts to enable the achievement of the strategic metrics in terms of profitability that the company approved. Furthermore, you will have influence across all functional groups within the organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop Quotations which will be submitted to our customers
  • Work together with different departments to assess product costing
  • If needed, develop Business Plans/ CAPEX requirements for products requested by the customers
  • Understand and being able to explain costs to our customers’ Financial Analysts
  • Monitor product cost reduction efforts
  • Prepare, review and in general support the monthly financial reporting
  • Prepare and review annual department forecast
  • Support the bi-annual strategic reviews with financial analysis on predicted volumes, pricing and margins
  • Perform a regular review of the warranty costs and highlight issues to be addressed
  • Maintain a sound controls environment
  • Follow-up on open financial issues until they are resolved (e.g. cash collections, Accounts Receivables overdues, pricing, etc.)
Required

What we look for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • A Technical education, such as, Manufacturing Accounting or Engineering is a plus
  • Solid years’ experience related to financial management in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven teamwork skills
  • A broad skill set is desired including analytical, communication, strategic thinking, and technical knowledge of Clarios products
  • Outstanding organization and documentation skills are also essential
  • Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office package (especially MS Excel)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, other languages are a plus
