ALDI SOUTH IT ensures that everything runs smoothly, from the IT infrastructure to the software used: both at national and international level. Within the scope of transnational projects, our teams develop IT solutions for worldwide use at ALDI SOUTH. As an SAP expert, you will play a key role in the implementation of ALDI SOUTH’s IT strategy and in one of the largest SAP implementation projects in the retail industry. You will develop global templates, implement software, monitor interfaces and liaise with all stakeholders.

Your Tasks
  • Act as the interface between the Business and IT with regard to forecasting data analytics in the Supply Chain Management area
  • Be the global point of contact for requests related to calculation results of our SAP solutions for our international stakeholders
  • Constantly analyse the quality of the created forecasts and develop measures to improve them consistently for all product groups
  • Support data driven decision making for supply chain related procurement processes in all ALDI countries
  • Ensure that local learnings are captured as best practices and are shared with the global ALDI community
  • Create comprehensible presentations explaining complex interdependencies for all management levels of our Business and IT organisation
Your Profile
  • University degree with a focus on statistics, mathematics, data science or a comparable discipline
  • Professional experience in the areas of data science or data analytics
  • Ideally, initial experience with SAP F&R, SAP CAR UDF, SAP BW, R Studio or any other data analysis tool as well as SQL or a comparable query language
  • Open mindset, persuasiveness and intercultural communication skills
  • A very good command of the English language
