What We Offer

Public Funding Management is a leading actor in the field of public funding for innovative projects and ideas. Our mission is to support organizations in realizing their innovation potential and successfully implementing their projects. During your internship, you will gain insights into the exciting world of public funding and experience Covestro’s innovation culture firsthand. The internship lasts 6 months and starts as agreed upon.

You will work in a creative and international environment and support us in funding management, among other tasks:

  • You will maintain the funding tracking system for ongoing projects to efficiently monitor and analyze funding.
  • You will prepare the review of completed projects through reports, presentations, and documentation.
  • You will collaborate with the Accounting department and verify the correct posting of our funding.
  • You will support the introduction of new digital billing solutions (also in other countries).
  • You will communicate with internal and external contacts to clarify funding questions.
  • You will support the development of suggestions for more efficient funding management.

What You Offer

  • You are currently pursuing a master’s degree in economics, natural sciences, social sciences, or a related field.
  • You have an interest in public funding programs and a good understanding of administrative processes.
  • You work in a structured and responsible manner, placing great value on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • You have excellent skills in using Excel, particularly in creating and analyzing complex tables.
  • You are a team player and have strong communication skills.
  • You possess analytical thinking abilities and can comprehend and process complex information.
  • You have excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
