Job description

We are looking for an Audit Manager to join the Global Internal Audit team of a large multinational. The candidate will be responsible for managing and performing domestic and international assignments in various areas within the organization. The projects will be conducted following the Group audit methodology and in compliance with professional internal audit standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead a team of 2-6 auditors to perform domestic and international operational and financial audits, including SOx testing.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements in internal control frameworks and value addition opportunities.
  • Create assignment reports, summarizing findings and providing suggestions for remediation.
  • Develop relationships and maintain the internal perception of audit as a strategic partner.
  • Participate in ad-hoc assignments as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or Law.
  • 7-8+ years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, SOx, Internal Controls, Risk Management, etc., with 1-3 years of experience in leading audit teams.
  • Fluent in English and working proficiency in at least one other European language for the defined perimeter (Polish or German).
  • Ideally a professional qualification (ACCA/Chartered Accountant, CIA, CISA, CFE).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work both in teams and individually.
  • Working knowledge of finance, accounting principles and/or business processes.
