About the Work
Spendesk Core Product is a heart of the Spendesk business, providing value to the customers and serving five personas engaged into the Spend Management: Financial Controller, Budget Owner, Financial Operations professional, Financial Accountant, Employee.

The Interim Group Product Manager, Core Product will be leading the Core product team of eight product managers. The role will report to Spendesk Head of Product and partner with a broad product team, Research, Design, Engineering and Product Marketing on delivery of 12 months roadmap for the Core Product.

The Spendesk Core Product Group PM is an expert product development approaches and technics and influential leader, capable of building productive relationships with the cross-functional partners. This person is an experienced product leader and practitioner who would be responsible for managing and coaching the team of eight product managers .

The role scope includes:

    • Setting direction and managing Product development for Financial Controller, Budget Owner, Financial Operations professional, Financial Accountant, Employee personas
    • Definition of clear and actionable goals for the Core Product team, aligned with the Spendesk company and product strategy
    • Definition, evaluation of and accountability for the Product performance outcomes and metrics
    • Organisation and coordination of the quarterly OKR planing, roadmap updates
    • Management of the eight person team of product managers
    • Maintenance of established team processes and rituals: both internal and cross-functional like Monthly Revenue Team updates, Customer Facing roadmap contribution

Required qualifications & experience:

    • 6+ years of experience in Product Management working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research teams.
    • 4+ years of Product leadership experience and product team management
    • People management and management of team of 6-10 people
    • Ability to articulate defined strategy and mould consensus across many different stakeholders, including the Revenue and commercial teams.
    • Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities and projects, with a strong attention to detail.
    • Problem-solving mindset and ability to dig into complex topics, driving resolution.
    • Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience.
    • Technical expertise: contribution to the development of Fintech products OR BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
    • Experience of working in international and multi-cultural context.
    • Excellent communication and writing skills.
