As the master of insurance products, you know our user needs, our competitors’ products and our Coya T&C by heart. You’re willing to challenge the industry’s status quo and create the most understandable products for our users with the best product-market-channel fit. You will be the one building and optimizing Coya’s insurance products for the German market. Internally, you’re the "go-to" person for any question about coverages, processes, and value-adding services for those products.

Aufgaben

• Create and optimize insurance products for the German market in line with our vision around the home: households, homeowners / building, mortgage / rental income guarantee, pet, bike, liability
• Be involved in the perfect mastery of our products (customer-oriented easy to understand coverages and T&Cs, optimize to meet specific ratings and distribution channel demands, optimize underwriting profitability e.g. adding limitations that do not influence ratings, but reduce risks)
• Constant benchmarking to ensure our products are (a) as fair, as simple, and as transparent as possible (b) competitively positioned in comparison portals (both aggregators and with broker pools) - hereby also support the development of tools to track the positioning and pricing against competitors
• Contribute to our customer-centric client by spreading your technical knowledge across Coya and make sure our products are fully mastered by claims managers, customer services agents, and all other Coya teams (ensure technical support and training)
• Help building the pricing model
• Work hand in hand with product and designer to build and display our product in a transparent and simple way, to help our clients understand what they are buying
• Support the partnerships team in discussions of insurance product designs with potential external partners or third-party product providers (e.g. for legal insurance)
• Identification of risks related to the product itself, the subscription flow, the legal feasibility

Qualifikation

Must-haves:

• Solid experience in multi-risk insurance product management/development, either as an underwriter, insurance specialist, claims management or a similar role
• Confident with contract writing (General Conditions, Particular Conditions etc)
• In-depth home insurance knowledge, some experience within claims would be a huge advantage
• Content writing skills, supporting with marketing or CS material
• Comfortable working in an international, fast-paced environment
• Customer-centric mindset, hands-on, autonomous, proactive and can-do attitude
• A willingness to contribute in other areas; supporting CS, claims and be the owner of contract drafting etc
• Highly organised and resourceful, used to working to a tight deadline

Languages:

• Fluent in German and English, French would be a plus

Nice to have:

• Experience working as a claims manager or within a claims related role
• Experience in insurance law
