Klar’s goal is to make digital banking accessible to everyone in Mexico.

Why this is so special?

In Europe, it’s pretty familiar to have a bank account and being able to get financial support if needed, but in countries like Mexico, that’s a much bigger challenge.

Many people don’t have access to the financial system or get support when their car breaks down or a family member gets sick. In some cases it also means not having a bank account at all. Traditional banks have high overhead costs per customer, which makes it unattractive for them to serve people with small deposits or from remote areas.

Through modern technical infrastructure, Klar creates a way to minimize these banking costs and can help ensure that people without access to a bank account can get various financial products at fair conditions.

How we work

We are a co-located company with offices in Berlin, Germany and Ciudad de México, Mexico.

This position is based in Berlin, Germany.

Tasks

  • Ensure flawless HR support, responding to any employee request in a timely manner
  • As beeing part of the local HR Team in Berlin you oversee and setup, develop and control all administrative processes in the HRIS system
  • Ensure a great emplyoee experience from day is important to you. So you design and improve On- and Offboarding continiously as well as the whole empolyee lifecycle
  • Beeing responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the monthly payroll and ensure that the correct data is submitted to vendors and the Finance Department at all times
  • Understanding of the whole HR cycle and preparation of employment contract documents, references and certificates and handling of correspondence with health insurance companies, insurance companies and authorities
  • Implement and monitor HR KPIs, reportings, statistics and Strategic topics in the sense of the company
  • Lead a small team of a mix of Office Management, Recruitment and HR Administration and continiously develop them
Requirements

  • You have several years of experience in leading a small team, interpersonal skills and a motivational attitude
  • You know how to develop your people team and position the team as the forward-thinking experts they are
  • You have already built HR structures from early-stage and you know what is important
  • You have a structured mind-set and a strong business understanding to be able to derive necessary HR topics from the overall company strategy
  • You have a makers mindset and you are a problem solver
  • You bring outstanding and clear communication skills and you are able to build lasting relationships with the teams in the organization
  • You are authentic, empathetic and you already gained experience in managing HR in the field of Tech & Product
