We are seeking an HR Compliance Lead (m/f/d) to join our team! In this position, you will have the opportunity to act as a key part of the HR Compliance team, with responsibilities for various Koch enterprise-wide HR compliance initiatives. You will lead HR Compliance initiatives for Koch companies in Germany as well as work with the Koch EMEA HR Compliance team to provide support across Europe, Middle-East and Africa.

What You Will Do
- Be a preferred partner for German HR, providing HR compliance expertise and a risk-optimized and forward-looking point of view, enabling HR to transform its service delivery and advance our business’s vision
- Monitor emerging topics in German employment law, regulation and HR/Talent Acquisition best practices, analyze the practical application, and communicate these with the HR organization
- Review policies, documents, and forms for compliance with employment & labor law, and to identify Koch company-wide harmonization opportunities, where profitable
- Provide project support and consultation, leveraging HR compliance knowledge
- Develop and conduct HR compliance training, capability development and tools for HR
- Use data and analytics to transform and improve HR compliance processes
- Participate in HR Compliance Leveraged Capability led employment and labor audits in Germany, and leverage findings to improve compliance, and share best practices across all Koch companies within EMEA
- Lead HR knowledge networks to foster risk adjusted thinking around compliance requirements and best practices with the HR Capability group
- Identify opportunities to transform how HR Compliance delivers services
- Support the use of technology (SharePoint, TEAMS, monthly newsletters) to develop and deliver knowledge to HR and stakeholders
Who You Are
- Broad HR experience in a multinational organization, with working knowledge of all aspects of HR’s role in the employment life cycle in Germany
- Experience with developing and writing HR policies in German and English, with proven ability in understanding labor & employment laws and developing HR practices
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to balance different projects and timelines
- Self-directed, independent thinker with a desire to share knowledge
- Strong logical reasoning, detail orientation, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to articulate issues and develop a point of view using a risk based approach
- Ability to think creatively and develop opportunities for innovation and optimization
- Excellent German & English written and verbal communication skills
What Will Put You Ahead
- Master’s degree in German Employment and Labor law would be beneficial
- Prior HR Operations experience, supporting payroll or reporting for any EMEA countries would be beneficial
- Experience working with work counsils or employee representation would be beneficial
- Experience with reporting on research of employment & labor laws would be beneficial
- Prior work in a compliance role relating to labor & employment compliance would be beneficial
- Prior experience with analytical and automation tools would be beneficial
- Ability to speak/write in a language primary to EMEA other than English or German would be beneficial
