OVERVIEW:

Guidepoint’s Human Resources (HR) team drives Guidepoint’s culture and company values of intellectual curiosity, tenacity, integrity, resourcefulness, responsibility, and service. The HR Associate will be supporting the daily operations and business growth while ensuring the company guidelines are followed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

HR administrative tasks and initiatives
  • Enter, maintain, and validate accurate information within HR systems for statistical analysis, process effectiveness and reports
  • Support and prepare monthly payroll and monthly reports (e.g., headcount, org chart, attrition reports) and support with annual processes (e.g., performance reviews, reports)
  • Own the employee onboarding, promotion and offboarding cycles
  • Liaise with talent development to create onboarding and training plans
  • Draft all internal documentation including promotion documents, payroll status change forms, and employment verifications
  • Provide ad-hoc support when necessary
  • Respond to HR-related queries from employees
  • Assist the talent acquisition team with any queries related to German labor market
  • Assist in planning and coordination of team events and campus recruitment events
  • Manage various HR initiatives such as wellness perks, employee engagement, respective feedbacks and reports
  • Work closely with various internal teams
General office administrative tasks
  • Handle documentation, logistic coordination
  • Assist in various office management topics
  • Coordinate office maintenance services
  • Provide general support for visitors and guests
WHAT YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business administration or related discipline
  • 2-3-years of relevant experience in human resources administration and payroll processing
  • Knowledge of German Labour Law
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information
  • High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Suite: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to contribute ideas to the overall team
  • Excellent English is essential; in addition, German is highly desirable
