We are looking for an experienced, resourceful, and highly driven sales executive with a proven track record of building and managing sales teams to lead the way to conquering the EMEA market.

As the Head of Sales of North America, you’ll report directly to the Global VP Sales and exercise full ownership of the formulation and execution of a sales strategy for your region, define and build the required team, and own and meet sales targets for your territory. In addition, as a part of the global sales leadership team, you’ll contribute to the global team in the form of leading strategic projects and in setting up new territories over time.

Responsibilities
  • Build, onboard, and train an effective and efficient sales team
  • Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
  • Assists in the development of the sales plan. Prepares forecasts and KPI reporting for the sales leaders, and upper management, for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning.
  • Develop close relationships with customers and leverage them to generate new leads and unique insight into new market opportunities
  • Work collaboratively across teams - including Engineering, Product and Marketing
  • Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives
  • Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development
Requirements

Requirements:
  • 8 years of relevant sales experience including management of SDR and AE functions and a track record of exceeding quota. Experience in Hardware sales and in selling to academic and research labs - a strong advantage
  • Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Background in physics and or electrical engineering, understanding of quantum physics - advantage
