Siemens Large Drive Applications (LDA) is the global market leader for drive systems with a future-proof drive technology portfolio, automation technology, digitization solutions and services. The spectrum spans the entire life cycle of drive systems: from design and engineering to modernization.

One of our focus verticals is the production of Hydrogen. This market is developing very dynamically, especially green Hydrogen production with DC rectifier technology. Additionally, there are other verticals in the Power2Power market, which are in the focus of our activities.

As Head (m/w/d) of Hydrogen_Production_and_Other_Verticals you will play a key role to shape and develop the business of green Hydrogen production for a clean and sustainable power generation.

What part will you play?

  • You are building and leading our global business activities for Hydrogen Production, reporting directly to the global head of LDA’s Solution business
  • Jointly with your cross functional team you define our Go2market strategy, required marketing activities, individual project capture and execution strategy as well as the requirements for new product developments
  • You will have direct interaction with our top customers in your verticals and develop management level contacts
  • Your target is to further increase LDA’s business in the area of Hydrogen Production
  • You will manage your team and internal partners which are concentrated in Germany and Norway
What You Need To Make Real What Matters.

  • The basis of your success is a completed degree in engineering
  • Building on that, you can demonstrate relevant, long-term experience (8+ years) in technical sales, account management or strategy
  • Furthermore, you convince with experience in managing high-level expert teams and equally with knowledge of the motors and drives business
  • Equally, you also score with experience in negotiating agreements and contracts
  • In addition, your intercultural expertise enables you to work with global customers and global teams
  • You are willing to travel on a regular basis (particularly commutes between Erlangen and Oslo)
  • Excellent English language skills complete your profile (with German language skills being of further advantage)
