Aufgaben
In the role of Global Project Engineering Manager (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the following engineering activities of the Bran + Luebbe product line:
- Management of an international team of 30 engineers and technicians with focus on Order Engineering & Project Management in Norderstedt, India (Bangalore Engineering Center) and the USA.
- Ensures achievement of safety, quality, schedule and budget objectives with regards to our highly ETO related business of metering pumps, skits and systems in the oil and gas industry (production and upstream), chemical industry (petrochemical, downstream) as well as other industries like sanitary, power and food.
- Partner with our quotation teams - advice on the technical evaluation of our quotations. Estimate engineering & project management hours.
- Partner with our development teams to support resolution of a variety of high impact problems/projects.
- Application of extended knowledge of technical standards (ISO, DIN, API, EN) and other norms (ATEX, Norsok, machine registers) and ensuring that these are applied.
- Approval of technical documents and management of technical & operational reviews, such as design review meetings.
- Optimizing the use of technical systems and tools such as 3D modeling, CAD tools, etc.
- Initiation of standardization projects in close cooperation with product development and product management.
- Driving continuous improvements and optimization of work processes and policies in his/her area of responsibility
- Successfully completed engineering degree
- Profound experience in leading international technical teams
- Experience in the pump industry desired and experience in the oil & gas and petrochemical industries advantageous
- General knowledge of specifications and standards, preferably broad in all areas of the industry, knowledge of metallurgy
- Analytical skills, organizational skills and a solution-oriented way of working
- Strong communication skills
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English, German skills desired
- Experienced handling of SAP and MS Office
