Your Working Environment #FollowYourDrive The field of "Autonomous Driving" (AD) with its applications "Mobility as a Service" (MaaS) and "Transport as a Service" (TaaS) will play a decisive role in the mobility transformation. This requires optimized vehicles and new approaches to offering and operating them - thus opening up a new business model for Volkswagen AG. This model is to be designed as an integration platform for various AD systems and internal and external providers to autonomously transport passengers and goods in urban areas - all with more comfort and flexibility compared to today’s solutions.

Ihre Aufgaben

Your Tasks
  • Developing, refining and documenting safety analyses and concepts for unit-specific systems and functions
  • Develop, present and evaluate modified functions and safety functions for unit-specific systems and functions in decision-making bodies, including impact analyses, hazard and risk analyses
  • Developing processes for commercial vehicle-specific applications as part of function-oriented development in the role of product owner Functional Safety
  • Validate in-vehicle safety with evaluation and interpretation of measurement results from test bench and vehicle testing for unit-specific systems and functions
  • Review all results of safety activities and create safety evidence for release
  • Creating safety specifications of unit-specific systems and functions for production and customer service
  • Initiating and supporting the awarding of development work to external third-party development partners

    Ihre Qualifikationen

    Your Qualifications
  • Completed technical/college studies in the technical field or a comparable qualification
  • Good understanding of system engineering incl. requirements management and engineering is desired
  • Good understanding of process quality (Automotive SPICE) and knowledge of safety standards (ISO 26262)
  • Ideally you have practical experience in the phases of the V-Model and the supporting processes The following interdisciplinary competences are especially outstanding:
  • High competence in analytical thinking as well as high abstraction skills
  • Strong ability to coordinate teams with/from different cultures and experiences and strong initiative and self-responsibility with pleasure in new technologies
  • Distinct competence in finding solutions Our Benefits:
