In the Monomers Division, we develop and produce isocyanates and polyamides for applications in the automotive, construction and packaging industries. High-quality basic chemicals and inorganic specialties are also in our portfolio. With production sites all over the world, we help our customers to meet their demand for sustainable and competitive materials.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Within our business unit, we manage all Marketing & Sales activities for inorganic Chemicals in Europe.

In your role, you will be in close contact with customers from the pulp and paper industry in Europe and Russia presenting and explaining BASFs portfolio of inorganic specialties.
You act as a Sales Manager leading price negotiations and calculations with existing and new customers in order to build up business relationships.
Together with the technical product management and with the help of your technical expertise, you will organize laboratory and production plant trails at customers factories.
As an Expert within the chemical industry, you overlook the global strategic business development in order to divert effective operative measures for our product portfolio.
In addition, you create product-, customer- and market strategies and maintain relationships with research institutes.
Bringing new product developments to success, you lead market launches within the paper industry.
QUALIFICATIONS

university degree in process engineering, chemistry, paper technology or a comparable discipline
more than two years of professional expertise within a marketing or sales position
profound expertise within the pulp and paper industry
deep knowledge of B2B marketing and sales processes
excellent communication skills in German and English for a successful collaboration with international customers
willingness to travel within europe
