To strengthen our team in Donauwörth, Germany, on a permanent basis, we are looking for you as a

Technical Author – Aerospace (f/m/d).

Your activities:

  • Creation, updating and validation of helicopter maintenance documentation, service bulletins (SB), aircraft maintenance manuals (AMM) and/or the illustrated parts catalogue (IPC) based on international standards such as iSpec 2200, S1000D or S2000M
  • Examination of logistic breakdowns, maintenance analyses, parts lists, drawings and other manufacturer documentation
  • Determination of possible effects of design modifications on maintenance manuals and parts catalogues
  • Creation and maintenance of logistical databases
  • Content and timing coordination with various specialist departments of the customer

Your profile:

Mandatory:

  • Apprenticeship as aircraft maintenance technician (B1.1, B2 or B1.3) or completed studies in the field of aircraft maintenance, mechanical or electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics
  • Very Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken

Advantageous:

  • Technical background in aviation
  • Experience as technical author
  • Experience in creating and reviewing illustrated parts catalogues (IPC)
  • Skills in the application or use of Arbortext Editor / IsoDraw, Photoshop, CATIA, SGML, XML,
  • Knowledge of German and/or French
