We are looking for a technical assistant (m/f/d) as soon as possible within our sugarbeet resistance breeding working group with focus on yellowing virus resistance for a permanent full-time position at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA in Einbeck, Germany.

This position offers a varied work environment in the scope of PC, greenhouse, and field work (in approximately equal parts).

Your new challenge:
  • Support in resistance trials in the field and greenhouse (inoculation of trials, plant counts, scoring, work organization)
  • Creation of trials and marker orders as well as data analyses on PC
  • Seed ordering, young plant cultivation and execution of leaf harvests
  • Organization and implementation of crossing programs in the field and greenhouse
Your competencies:
  • Completed training as an agricultural technical assistant, plant technologist or comparable training
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications as well as routine in general PC work
  • Experience with databases (e.g. ACCESS) or high willingness to learn
  • Structured, self-organized and precise way of working combined with an open mind and interest in new topics
  • Certain flexibility with regard to full-year business trips (up to 15 %)
  • Good communication skills in German and English
