RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process ownership for Supplier Master Data
Technical and disciplinary management of the Accounts Payable Team
Active participation in the optimization of implementation and integration of companies
Monitoring, controlling, and improving the pertinent purchase-to-pay procedures based on key metrics and performance standards for both process and financial effectiveness
The creation, coordination, and application of guidelines and specifications for the responsibility area
Close cooperation with the Shared Service Center and proactive management of escalations

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficient in German and English
Extensive managerial expertise in the aforementioned areas of responsibility, together with the capacity to inspire staff and walk them through change processes
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Power BI
Completed economics degree and/or additional qualification as an accountant and/or several years of relevant professional experience in finance and accounting
Strong understanding of end-to-end accounting processes and strong process optimization skills
Very good knowledge of SAP
