Over the last years our Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) organization has been transformed from a recruitment delivery function to a truly value-add HR function a Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise (COE).

To support our COE German and Austrian Team, we are currently looking for Talent Acquisition Lead Germany & Austria (m/f/d) based in Munich.

This is an amazing opportunity to play a pivotal and strategic role in creating the talent attraction strategy for both regions.

The successful candidate will be accountable for partnering with cross divisional business / HR leaders to appreciate their needs and translate these into actionable talent acquisition strategies and deliverables.

Besides leading, coaching and developing your direct reports you will be also responsible for managing the RPO service. We work in a close partnership with Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS) and you will leading the internal TA Team and work with the AMS team to win as One team.

You will be a member of the Europe Talent Acquisition Leadership team as well as part of the local German / Austria HR Leadership team (HR LT). In this role you will report directly to the Director GTA Europe and have a dotted line to the country HR Director.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 4 Talent Acquisition Advisors and 1 Early Talent Recruiter and strengthen the collaboration with the RPO team and deliver on or exceed stated KPIs

  • Partner and consult with the business to understand business needs, gain commitment and execute against talent strategies to deliver value. Educate the business on hiring progress and competitive landscape utilizing internal and external metrics and data

  • Develop and implement the Country Talent Acquisition strategy and partner with the GTA leads to identify and deploy regional Employer Branding, Social Media and Diversity strategies

  • Monitor and analyzes trends in the business, economy, and employment marketplace to identify issues and opportunities in order to enhance staffing strategies and leverage brand

  • Lead / contribute to regional/global GTA continuous improvement projects. Examples of projects could be Branding, Selection, Employee referral, Sourcing, Early Talent or Candidate Experience

  • Build strong relationships with Business, HR CoEs, HRBP’s and RPO

  • Represent TA in the local HR leadership team (HR LT) and towards senior management. We expect the TA Lead to bring GTA updates to the country leadership team and the HR LT and to implement local policies and agreements into our offering

  • Drive diversity initiatives with HRBPs, business and RPO achieve tangible outcomes

Key requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience/qualifications)

  • People management experience, having led a team for minimum 4 years +

  • Several years of experience in Recruitment Marketing strategies, understanding targeted sponsored campaign approaches including analytics and having excellent knowledge of a digital media channel strategies

  • Excellent communication skills with strong influencing, negotiation and conflict management skills as well as excellent stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to consult and collaborate at all levels of the organization

  • Have an innovative and experimenting mindset to ensure we stay ahead of the competition, offering the best hiring practices and solutions to win the war for talent

  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and excellent project management capabilities and a mindset of optimization

  • Fluent in German is a MUST and English, verbally and in written communication
