Responsibilities Please note, during the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Agency is operating in a maximum telework posture for all telework ready employees occupying a telework eligible position. Serves as a Supply Systems Analyst in the DLA Troop Support Europe and Africa Customer Facing Division under the direction of the Branch Chief. Responsible for management of assigned Subsistence Total Order and Receipt Electronic System (STORES) enhancement projects or multiple new development projects. Manages projects assigned by the supervisor within the prime vendor/STORES business area utilizing a thorough knowledge of the Information Systems, its customers, project management practices, and workload. Responsible for ensuring that proposed changes in assigned STORES Information Systems projects are thoroughly coordinated first through the supervisor and then throughout the Subsistence Supply Chain Network. Responsible for planning,performance tracking, change control, commitment management, and quality control for assigned projects. Responsible for the overall actions and decisions made and retains overall responsibility for ensuring that the deliverables are completed within the project costs and meet quality standards for acceptance by the customer. Incumbent may manage a complex project and simultaneously multiple projects of lesser complexity. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for a Supply Systems Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants
must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Knowledge of a wide range of principles, concepts, and practices of an administrative occupation, and skill in applying this knowledge in performing difficult and complex work assignments. Ability to analyze independently and resolve difficult issues and problems in the assigned area of responsibility involving, for example, supply processes, work methods, supply data management, or day-to-day operational procedures. Experience developing and/or implementing procedures and practices to cover multiple supply objectives including inventory management of the supply stock fund for expendable and nonexpendable items. Resolving issues involving conflicting program requirements and reviews operating programs for
adequacy, efficiency, and the need for improvement. Coordinating the objectives and plans of two or more programs simultaneously. Experience with Subsistence Total Order and Receipt Electronic System (STORES) and Account Management and Provisioning System (AMPS). Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
