Our company strategy to win in the Travel, Payment and Expense market is continuously revisited and new strategic projects emerge to accelerate further growth. We are therefore looking for you to join our Strategy and M&A Team as an Intern. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment and is eager to shape the strategy of one of the fastest growing scale-ups out there.


What You’ll Do


  • You will work side-by-side with the Strategy and M&A managers on both Strategic projects and Acquisitions
  • Support highly relevant cross-functional projects directly sponsored by executive team
  • Research new markets and/or competitive ecosystems
  • Identify potential acquisition targets and prepare investment proposals
  • Facilitate the due diligence process and deal with high-caliber external advisors (e.g., M&A law firms)
  • Support ongoing deal negotiations
  • Structure and optimize our post-merger integration approach

What We’re Looking For


  • You are available for at least 3 months, but ideally longer (4 to 6 months), to change the world of business travel & expense management together with us
  • You have finished at least your 4th semester in a Bachelor degree program with an economic, finance, international business or related field at a top university or have already graduated
  • Your working mode can be described as independent, analytical, organized and well structured
  • You possess strong process management and interpersonal skills to deal with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • You have deep analytical skills and you’re comfortable with numbers
  • You are eager to be part of a highly-skilled team and learn from experts
  • You have a charismatic attitude and the natural ability to communicate well - excellent spoken and written English is a must
  • You are based in Berlin and available to start in July 2023 (this is a requirement for the vacancy)
