At JetBrains, code is our passion. For over 20 years, we’ve been striving to make the most effective software development tools that speed up coding and software development. By automating routine checks and corrections, our tools speed up production, freeing developers to grow, discover, and create.

The Product Analytics Platform helps JetBrains product teams with fast, data-informed decision-making. To strengthen and support these efforts, we are looking for a skilled software engineer who is passionate about complex web applications.

In this role, you will contribute to developing an analytical system packed with charts, dashboards, and reports. We develop the server-side using Kotlin, Spring Framework and Gradle. This role offers a great opportunity to apply and improve your knowledge of databases, and the principles and techniques of handling large volumes of data.

Working closely with Data Analysts to better understand JetBrains customers, you will impact user experience and help developers, designers, and managers at JetBrains. Your work will directly influence the future of the company’s products and users.

We’ll be happy to have you on our team if you:

  • Have at least 5 years of software development experience.
  • Enjoy solving complex and challenging tasks.
  • Are attentive to detail and able to work both within a team and independently.
  • Want to constantly grow as a professional.
  • Are open to diverse opinions and can support your point of view with sound reasoning.
  • Take pride in your work.

We’d be especially thrilled if you:

  • Are skilled in working with AWS, Google Cloud, or any other cloud platform.
  • Have experience and interest in solving problems at the intersection of software engineering and analytics.

  • Fascinating work in a dynamic, friendly team.
  • Competitive salary.
  • Flexible working schedule.
  • Six weeks of paid vacation (local regulations may apply).
  • An office library with specialized work-related books and magazines.
  • Comfortable working environment, with ergonomic workplaces, fitness and leisure zones, and a company-paid car park.
  • Excellent opportunity for professional and personal development, including travel to professional conferences worldwide.
  • Additional benefits including lunch, free refreshments and snacks in the office, and more.
