We are looking for a full-time, permanent Software Engineer to start as soon as possible. With us, you have the freedom to choose whether you want to work completely remotely, hybrid or on-site. Our modern offices are located in Cologne, Hamburg, Bielefeld and Dresden.

Your design field

As a software engineer, you will be responsible for analysing requirements and creating technical concepts in cooperation with your team colleagues.

For us, the future is already a part of our daily business, which is why you see yourself as a T-Shaped Developer and take the implementation of frontend and backend modules into your capable hands.

Versatile tasks are part of your everyday life, because in addition to performing software tests, you also take care of the technical documentation of the developed modules, troubleshooting and the development of microservices.

In addition, you will drive the "Cloud First" transformation of plusserver with the implementation of the cloud products and will have the opportunity to not only work with existing cloud providers, but to actively participate in designing and setting up your own cloud solution.

In addition, we will give you a lot of creative freedom in an agile working environment and the opportunity to familiarise yourself with new technologies. Of course, we will also support you with an intensive induction and training opportunities for your professional development.

What convinces us

Your personality, paired with:

• very good experience in software development in an agile environment
• sound knowledge of Node.js or alternatively Python as well as experience with corresponding frameworks
• a good understanding of JSON and REST
• experience in the design and implementation of APIs
• basic knowledge of microservices development
• initial experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• willingness to learn new technologies
• a preference for agile, independent and responsible work
• very good knowledge of German or English
