LivePerson is currently seeking an experienced developer to join our team as a Software Development Engineer as part of our Identity & Access Management Team. While most of the team members are based in Israel and Germany,we’re "work from anywhere" friendly and have several team members working from remote locations. The successful candidate will be part of a team that drives important initiatives such as replacing Liveperson IDP provider and additional Security engineering related tasks. You will be part of the Global Product and Technology unit and would help to build state-of-the-art services that are used by our largest customers.

In This Role You Will
  • You will execute the technology roadmap and collaborate with Product, UX, and other internal teams to provide a stable, innovative, and valuable product.
  • Take full ownership for your development tasks, including testing & automation, QA, CI, DevOps and production operations if needed.
  • Help plan, design, and deliver complex, broad-scale systems that span several departments or functions.
  • Be responsible and drive the adoption of new and exciting technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and perform deployments.
  • Always think long term and never sacrifice a long term goal for a short term success.
  • Keep an eye on industry standards and best practices. Never stop learning. Always challenge the status quo.
  • Support other team members and work together with colleagues around the world to achieve the best results
What You Need For Success
  • 2+ years of software development experience in Java/Springboot
  • BA/B.Sc. in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • Interest to work with large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience in working with RESTful APIs;
  • Knowledge of Node.js & Typescript is a bonus
  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong familiarity with Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, a team player
  • Experience with working with commercial Identity Management like Auth0 or Okta is a plus
